ill :(

Yup, i have been struck down by glandular fever. My tonsils are the size of golf balls, it kills to swallow, my whole neck aches and it hurts to hold my head up, my muscles ache and i feel ridiculously drained despite having spent the entire day in bed; most of it asleep.

As if that wasn't shit enough, i have an appointment with the travel nurse on in a couple days to find out if i need any vaccinations before i go away.  I have an exam, which i've barely revised for on Thursday....which is about plants, yes plants :/ AND i have a tattoo removal appointment booked for next Saturday. So as if my body wasn't trying to fight off enough shit, i'm gonna have that healing to.

Upside being that i am supposed to be having a quick consultation with Rachel Mccarthy on the same day about tattooing my feet. I have been planning them for quite some time as celebrations/memorials of my grandparents. Then when my grandad passed away in January, that was sort of a kick in the ass to crack on and get it done. So i'll be posting more details about these pieces very soon! Til then...

What a palava!

Ugh, i officially HATE Thomas Cook's phone lines, as everyone you speak to passes you to someone else in another department, who then tells you they've put you through to the wrong place and you have to call a different number, and then you call that number and they do the same thing.
Okay, so after spending literally HOURS calling about 10 different 'Thomas Cook' numbers and being passed from department to department, i finally got through to the right place and started talking about booking my Thailand/Australia/Singapore flights.

Well after being on the phone, mostly on hold while the nice lady; Zoe spoke to the company they get flights off of for over an hour, i still didn't end up booking anything. Zoe said that the woman she was speaking to was a nightmare, wasn't listening and kept getting things wrong. So she said she'd call me back first thing Monday after she'd spoken to a different, and hopefully useful person, so that we could get everything booked up.

So fingers crossed for Monday!

Confirmation

I have literally JUST heard that i have been accepted by Deakin University! This means i WILL, 100% be going to study in Melbourne, Australia for 4months. As you can imagine i am incredibly excited and happy that the final confirmation has come through! This also means i will be stopping in Thailand for 3days or so on the way to Australia, and hopefully getting in some more hours on my leg sleeve with Jo AND that i will be stopping for a few days in Singapore on the way back to the UK! Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee SO happy now. Still have a million things to do but at least i can finally book flights! :D

Seven Deadly Sins Leg Sleeve

Okay so i had my first appointment with Jo Harrison on the 14th April. The day started off with me getting to the coach stop for 6am and standing and waiting in the freezing cold for it to turn up. Once i got to Birmingham i had like an hour to wait until my appointment at 10am, so i went and had Macdonalds breakfast (Y). After i had my fill i wandered down to the studio. I got there about 15mins before my appointment and they were just opening the studio and setting up for the day. Jo was no where in sight, so i just had a seat and waited. After my appointment time came and went, i was sat there a bit anxious to get started and wondering what the wait was about. Then Rosie told me Jo had gone to the bank and got held up. Jo appeared around 11am and appologised for being late. Then she disappeared round the other side to set up. We got started around 11.30am and then i sat until 8.30am. Of course we had the occasional toilet break but aside from that we both mustered through!

I've got another 8-10 Hours booked in for December to finish Gluttony and move onto the next sin but we are hoping to get in a few hours in June as Jo will be in Thailand and i might be stopping there on my way to Australia. So we shall see! But for now...
